Hello

TSo Survival

... Now open at the Science Museum ...

Take an adventure into 2050 and discover our interactive exhibition for the eco-generation. Come explore how science and technology could help us respond to our changing planet.

The Science of... team are back with this years latest interactive exhibition, The Science of Survival. This exhibition is set to be one of the most exciting and thought provoking family attractions of the year, exploring how we will survive on a changing planet including responses to climate change, diminishing resources and our options for a sustainable future.

The Science of Survival is a fun, hands-on experience that takes you through seven areas; Briefing, Drinking, Eating, Enjoying, Moving, Building and Future City - each area looking at why the future will be different and what we can do about it today.

Come and explore some of the challenges the future holds with the help of Dug, Tek, Buz and Eco, four virtual guides from 2050.  Discover new and exciting ways to find water, design a new superfood, create your very own vehicle and build your own neighbourhood before seeing it come to life in Future City.

We use a series of unusual and inspiring objects gathered from around the world to help you understand how science and technology can be used to help us cope with our changing planet. Experts from the UK talk about the real sustainability challenges they see in today's world, highlighting possibilities for positive change and where science and technology could help.

The Science of Survival will encourage you to question some of the things you take for granted in your lifestyle, while empowering you to take action towards a sustainable future.

Come visit us and discover that a sustainable future is positive, possible and exciting!
