From 9 April to 7 September 2009, The Science of Spying is running at the Ontario Science Centre in Toronto, Canada.

One of the many special exhibitions the Ontario Science Centre is presenting during its 40th anniversary year, The Science of Spying offers a unique, entertaining and educational insight into the mysterious and daring world of modern-day espionage.

The Science of Spying tests each visitor’s ability to crack codes, gather information, and use the technologies of real-life spies as they embark on an undercover mission.

"The Science of Spying is a unique avenue to introduce visitors to the extraordinary applications of current science and technology through the techniques and equipment used in modern espionage," said Lesley Lewis, CEO of the Ontario Science Centre. "Spies of 40 years ago could not even dream of the technologies we take for granted today, such as GPS and webcams."

Antonia Spanos, Exhibitions Director at The Science of... said:  "We are delighted that this thought-provoking exhibition is a part of the Science Centre’s 40th anniversary year celebrations. We are confident that The Science of Spying will continue Ontario Science Centre’s successful record of engaging visitors in educational and entertaining experiences, and bringing world-class attractions to audiences in Toronto."
